Over two weeks ago I started eating Paleo. I wanted to learn how substituting foods from my regular diet with paleo foods would affect me physically, mentally, and financially. I made sure that I was consuming the same total number of calories from each diet to guarantee the results were truly unbiased. The following chart shows a typical day of eating while I was following each diet. It compares my meals side by side so you can get a better understanding of the foods that I have switched out and their replacements.
I swapped the grains in my regular diet with fruits and veggies. I replaced my whey and dairy proteins with additional meats. This switch ended up costing me an extra $5 per day of eating Paleo.
