The Paleo Diet incorporates foods that have been a part of Humankind's diet for the majority of our existence. Meat, fruits, vegetables, seeds, and nuts were consumed by hunter-gatherer's for millions of years. The remaining foods in our diet, grains, dairy, donuts, were only very recently introduced to our digestive systems. The Paleo Diet theorizes that human's should not be consuming any foods that were introduced following the agricultural revolution. But why not?
